Her past life has been less than ideal, but her bubbling personality will make her the the center of attraction at your next party. . .and she will gladly share any food or treats that come her way. Her favorite toy is a Kong filled with peanut butter. This little "Love Bug" is friendly with other dogs and learning to live with cats in her foster home. Puma This handsome 3 year old, large Male has healed from a shattered tibia. He is most appreciative and uncomplaining and everyone who meets the boy loves him and his zest for life. Without us, he would have likely been euthanized . . .now he will take his place with other ambassadors of his breed. Puma has no knowledge of how strong he is and needs a lot of training. Until Puma finds his forever home, he will be stating basic training. Due to his size and energy level there can be no children under 12 in Puma’s future home. If you are interested Puma is fostered in New York. |

Simone
Hi
My name is Simone, I didn’t have a very happy beginning to my life. I’m very young only about a year old, everyone says I am a beautiful rottweiler. With a shiny black coat/natural tail. But as a puppy I was very neglected and not treated nice by someone. I was very happy though with my litter mates maybe that’s why I love other dogs so much today. I am shy and need some time to get to know you, and I still feel insecure around men. I am working on trying to overcome that obstacle. But once I understand your are my friend I am very affectionate and loyal. My foster mom says “I’M THE SWEETEST DOG SHE EVER MET”. I am a very good girl, I have great house manners, don’t chew stuff or jump on counters or sofa’s. I just love every dog I meet (and that is a rare quality found in any dog), I sleep very quietly in my crate(I love my crate, it’s cozy !), I am easy to walk and very gentle. My foster mom says “my sweet innocence will capture anyone’s heart” and I don’t have a mean bone in my body.
I attend doggie school once a week with my foster mom and dad and would love to have a home of my own. I hope a special person will come along who will help me with my shyness as my foster parents have and in return for that I will be your loyal, affectionate best friend for life. And it would be doubly great if you had another dog I could be pals with. I am fostered in northern New Jersey.
Love,
Simone

Brittany |
|
Brittany is a beautiful, energetic, young, 12 to 18 month-old Rottie girl who is clearly a people pleaser. Although currently severely underweight at 62 pounds, she is doing her best in foster care to fill out her frame to match her lovely blocky Rottie head.
Brittany loves long walks and car rides, and behaved spectacularly at her first adoption event. Like so many dogs, she is not impressed with UPS or Fed-Ex trucks but remains friendly with their drivers! Britt likes other dogs, but is NOT top choice as a companion for an older "couch potato". She is curious about cats, but the felines have yet to vote her a friend. Lovingly fostered in northern New Jersey

Astro
This little 10 month old puppy has a natural tail
and is a very sweet boy with a real nice look.
He is very energetic, fine around cats and ok around other dogs.
He is fostered in New York State. Watch for more information on
this handsome little boy.
Chanel
Chanel is a 1 yr old sweet girl. She gets along with other dogs and cats, she will share her food and toys with others. Chanel will not be ready for adoption until after 2/26/05.
Gidget

Gidget's love of children and family fun achieve full height at Halloween! Her fondest wish is to be the "treat" at some lucky trick-or-treater's party!! Gidget has spent nearly a year in foster care since she came into rescue with three of her seven puppies. She longs to be a family dog again; Imagine this love sitting at your feet watching TV. The Gidge is impeccably housebroken and houseworthy. . .she has never been destructive, and does NOT counter-surf. At four to five years old, she is way past that puppy stuff, and is a responsible and most affectionate partner. Gidget would benefit from being part of an active family who would take her for long walks to help her lose those pesky "puppy pounds" gained from carrying too many litters. Our girl LOVES to take long walks, play ball, and is happiest just being with YOU! Now spayed, healthy and UTD on shots, Gidget is interviewing prospective families from her foster home in Northern N.J. She would welcome living with well-behaved children and a calm older dog, but should not be considered a friend to cats.
Babbitt
This little 4 month old Rottie/Shepherd mix puppy has a natural tail and is a very loving sweet girl. She is fine around cats and ok around dogs.
Watch for more information on this sweet little girl.
Chloe is a well socialized young cat who along with her three kittens was surrendered when her elderly owner entered a hospice. Chloe likes other cats, and will be tested with a dogs prior to placement. She is a playful 18 months old. is spayed, UTD on shots, and negative for FIV and AIDS. This lovely "not-weiler" is offered for adoption by TRC (sometimes referred to as "The Right Cat"!) She waits in foster in northern N.J. and longs to be part of a loving family again.
