Don’t Let Your Car or Truck Break Down on You – It’ll Waste Your Day

Selling automotive parts is a tough business, and there are a variety of reasons why it is difficult to make it in the automotive parts arena.
First, whenever a customer needs a part for a car, truck, or SUV, he or she is typically replacing something on the vehicle that is broken. Whenever a car is not operating properly, consumers tend not to be happy. Furthermore, during the summer, when it’s hot, the AC Compressor will fail frequently. To add fuel to the fire, an A/C Compressor failure during this time of the year is quite upsetting for someone needing to stay cool.
Secondly, most consumers do not budget for automotive repair. It’s a pretty common notion that most people do not save up for potential issues with their automobile. Therefore, whenever a break-down occurs, it can become extremely upsetting. Also, many car repairs must be completed in order to use the vehicle to get to work, or pick up the kids from school.
Next, it is just plain inconvenient to have a breakdown or auto failure. Think about it, if you are on your way to work, and your radiator breaks, engine coolant will leak out, and you’ll be stranded. Then, you have to call someone to help, get your vehicle towed to a repair shop, and hope they have the parts in stock to get you back going. By the time all of this is over, you’ve wasted an entire day.
Lastly, many import vehicles do not readily have replacement parts available. In the above scenario, if one drives a Chevrolet Silverado, it would be super easy for the repair shop to get replacement parts. However, if you drive a German or Swedish import, it will probably be a good bit more difficult to find the parts you need. It will also be more expensive to get the repair done.
