Un-Adopted/Nikki.JPG
Nikki came down with a skin condition called Demodex, which her owners refused to pay for the medication needed to cure this condition, so they surrendered her to The Rottie Connection.

Now this beautiful girl is extremely healthy with just a little love and medication once a day for a month.

Month/Piper1.JPG

Piper is a 9-month-old Labrador Retriever/Jack Russel mix. She made it out of the shelter with her sister and brother, just before the final hour. She is sweet, beautiful and has a wonderful zest for fun.
She loves to play, run and chase the tennis ball that she carries with her all the time. She always wants to play catch by her rules; (you throw it, she goes and gets it, but you have to chase her to get it).
She also loves to cuddle while watching television, sitting at your feet while you are on the computer and just being in the same room as you. Pipper is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on a leash and is working on basic commands.
Pipper has watched as her sibling have been adopted and looks at us as if to say "when is it my turn". This sweet and very intelligent girl deserves her forever home.

Month/AdamAbby.JPG

Adam and his sister Abby came to us as baby Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow mixes. They bond from day one and we hoped we would not have to separate them.  Adam, the bigger of the two, would cry nonstop whenever Abby left his sight.  You can imagine our excitement when we had an adopter come to us and ask if they could adopt Adam and Abby together.  We said our goodbyes believing the brother and sister would be together and happy.

Month/Adam.JPG
Two years later, due to unexpected circumstances beyond the adopters control Adam and Abby were returned to us.  We need to find a home for this 2 year old loving pair, who has shown the bond between a big brother and his little sister, cannot be broke.
Month/Abby.JPG

They both love attention and want to please.  They will make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family. They are both crate trained (if you are not fast enough they will crate together) and house trained, leash trained, and working on basic commands.  Good with cats, and we have not seen any issues with children.  Adam and Abby, both have exceptional personalities.  We can't wait to see them in their forever home!

Adam (12-07-0251) and Abby (12-07-0252) are fostered in New York state.

Un-Adopted/Bayou1.JPG
Bayou is a 2-year-old male Shepard/Husky mix. He was tied to the shelter door with a note stating he was getting too big. No one could touch him or his collar; he would literally lay flat on the ground and pee.
He sat at the shelter watching everyone pass him by because he was scared to trust again. He turned his back on everyone that would stop at his kennel. After a week the shelter labeled him un-adoptable and his time was up.
Un-Adopted/Bayou3.JPG
One shelter employee knew he needed help and slipped him on a transport leaving the shelter with a lot of puppies going to rescue. The transport arrived at our location with puppies in hand, plus a very special package; Bayou. If we didn’t take him, who would, he was so scared and trying to hide behind the puppies. More than six months later Bayou is ready for his own family. He is sweet and loving. He is crate trained, housebroken and knows basic commands. This boy has come a long way and deserves a chance.
