Chisel's Story
May 13, 2003 - Chisel was a stray in western MA. After spending several months in foster care, Chisel finally found the RIGHT family. Today he was adopted by Steve, Patti and their elkhound Lokie. Steve went out and bought Chisie a new collar, leash, LL Bean dog bed, toys, treats, etc., etc. He was so excited to come and get Chisie...Chisel is getting great owners! Steve has tomorrow off and will be home all day with Chisie and Patty is going to work from home on Thursday to be home all day with him.
July 19, 2004 Update! - Chisel has been with us just over a year. In that time he has been through basic obedience classes. After a long bout with getting sick in the car, Chis now LOVES to go for rides everyday. In fact if he has not gone for a ride, he starts to whine when I put my shoes on. Chise has also learned to swim at our summer home up on Lake Winepesaukee, but is stil a little reluctant to get into a boat. In May Chisel passed his Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors. He is studying hard for his USTT right now. (Congratulations to Chisel!)
