 Buddy's Story

July 8, 2003 - Buddy was delivered to his vet to be euthanized after his owner didn't want to pay the fines for his running at large. She also didn't want to contain him.

Today Buddy was adopted by Tom, Liz, Jake and their rottie girl Kiki from MA. Liz writes:

"The first day went relatively well. Buddy seems to be adjusting. I do think he is alittle confused and/or melancholy or maybe he is just a very laid back dog. You know more than me. Tommy took him on his walks and he did very well. Kiki is trying to be dominant and Buddy is just feeling out the situation. We are looking forward to the days ahead when he feels more comfortable here, realizes that this is his home and he that he is one lucky dog. I like it when he follows me around and dig the kisses too. My limited experiences with male rotties was that they were affectionate, but not big on kisses. This is a welcomed change. I will keep you posted !"
