Devon's Story
September 10, 2003 - Devon came into TRC from CACC in Manhattan. Those city girls - they make great family members! They are well socialized, and Devon proved no exception. Devon was adopted today by Pat from Massachusetts. Pat has been interviewing perspective family members since May and finally found Devon. Congratulations to Pat from all of the dogs who thought she'd make a great "Mom".
>>Devon's Story: A 2-3 year old beauty like this has no business running Central Park alone at night. Yet Devon was doing just that when she was impounded as a stray. Devon is a love, and adores being with people. She is social and friendly with dogs of all sizes and genders, and loves a good car ride. Devon had a former owner - her coat is healthy and shiny. Yet she cowers when you move your leg quickly to kick a stone from the sidewalk, and she has few leash manners (which probably explains why she was LOOSE in New York City, where every dog is leash-walked). Devon is waiting patiently for a family to show her. Kids over 6 for Devon!!
