Kara-Boo's Story
January 2, 2003 - Kara-Boo joined TRC on the first Michigan Mission in November - the 9th to be exact. Today he joined Laurie, Kris, Dusy Rose, Libby, and their cats on the lake in NH. Laurie writes: "Kara – Boo : From the first Michigan Rescue. A full blooded Rottie if there every was one. Bonded to Laurie instantly and was a wonderful, loyal companion until her untimely death on 3/20/03. For this ‘first time Rottie family’, Kara-Boo changed how we feel about Rotties. You could not ask for a better companion and playmate to dogs and cats and women humans especially. Beautiful tempermant and great manners for an older Rottie (5+ years?) who had probably been ‘passed around’ a bit in her life. Anyone who needs to be sold on why older Rottie’s make terrific companions – ask her family."
