Sadie - now Kaia's - Story
May 17, 2003 - Sadie - now Kaia - joined us as part of Michigan Mission III. Scheduled to be sold for medical research, Sadie was transported with several of her black & tan friends across Canada to TRC. Sadie was adopted almost immediately by Erika & Mike from Massachusetts, and their boy Kain.
Erika wrote: "We have renamed her Kaia. Can I tell you how AMAZING she is!!!!! She is absolutely wonderful and great on a leash too! It took all of a half hour of working with her and she heals, sits when stopped and stays. Just needed a refresher in leash manners. WE are still trying to get Kain used to having her in the house. 
Outside, they are great together. Inside, he can get a little grumpy but is getting better each day!. Thanks again for EVERYTHING!!! You guys have a wonderful organization! Now I can't wait for the day I sign on and see that Eli has found a forever home!."
