Maxi's Story
September 3, 2003 - Maxi was adopted today by Sandra from Massachusetts.

Want to play ball?" Maxi is your partner. She will amuse herself with a tennis ball or her favorite squeaky ball and invite you to join the fun! This 13 month old, high energy beauty is looking for an active family to call her own. Her hobbies include hiking, chasing butterflies, riding in the car, and of course PLAYING BALL!
She is social with other dogs and curious about cats (might chase them in fun if they run, but simply watch them as they sit in the sun grooming). She has been boarded at obedience school and will delight an owner skilled in training.
Maxi loves children and is offered to families with kids 10 and above . . . .if they play ball! She would appreciate the companionship of another dog of either sex. . .provided they match her energy. Her owner is heartbroken to have to surrender Maxi, but her older resident dogs would rather lie in the sunshine than chase balls with this active girl. Her idea of fun and their idea of retirement just clash.
